Torah Restoration Project

Sun, 1 Jan, 2017 12:00 AM - Fri, 5 May, 2017 5:00 PM

Please join Oseh Shalom in Laurel, Maryland as we restore a 125 year old Torah and bring it back into the condition it was in when first written in the 19th Century in Eastern Europe. Under the guidance of master scribe Jeffrey Schulevitz, individuals and families have the opportunity to learn about the Torah, the restoration process, and actually write a letter- $18 a letter or $54 dollars a word (if you mention this posting).

This project is open to the whole community, Jewish and Interfaith. Private sessions are also available. Sponsorship's for those who may want to participate and may not be able to afford are greatly welcomed and appreciated!
