One of life’s “ultimate” questions concerns the issue of what happens next? Is “this” all there is? Is there an afterlife? If so, what is life like after this life? Judaism and Christianity have responded to these ultimate questions in a variety of ways: some similar, others, vastly different. This mini course will explore both classical and contemporary Jewish and Christian responses to these questions along with a number of underlying assumptions that animate them: notions of human freedom and divine judgment, to name a few. Come join us for this four-part mini course that promises a little bit of heaven and so much more.
